Slave/master relationship is the context. Great gain is the priority and the real truth. Contentment is a state of mind and being that only godliness can give..peace maybe.. slaves under the control of masters who had it all but did not really have it all…. They look at a slave who had nothing but had it all… Nothing the world gives can give us a content core. Contentment is supernatural control from God and is rare to see. Ron God bless you and thank you for the hard work on your blog it is appreciated.

When being godly in a manner that is not laboring for you, then you are pleasing God. And when He is pleased with you, He will reward you. But to take it further and more accurate, when you are enjoying being godly and it does not require extra effort or it is second nature to you, then your rewards are great. Being godly, I hope I am using this word correctly, should not be something you do to gain rewards.
