Pilot of 9/11 Flight 11 Bumped on 9/10

This is an interview with the man who was supposed to fly American Airlines Flight 11 on 9/11… Steve Scheibner.  He was bumped by a more senior pilot on 9/10.  His account of the events ends with his testimony of salvation.  Application point: Next time your life takes an unexpected turn… maybe, JUST MAYBE… there is a grander scheme to the event you aren’t aware of.  Thus Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.”

What an awesome testimony to our Lord’s providence in our lives. “Someone died for me twice.” Ron thank you for posting and Steve for living a life for God’s glory. Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done. God’s ultimate goodness is perfect, we don’t have a clue…

What an eye-opening story!! What a testament to God’s intervention into a life….some people would never think beyond, “I am lucky”, they never think, “I am Blessed!”. Everything in our lives is either sent by God or allowed by God for a reason!! What a Blessing this man received, and what a Blessing that he realized that it was of God, not just “luck”! Sometime we don’t understand why things happen in our lives, but if we trust and follow God, He will lead us to the place He wants us…for our good!!
